I realized I haven’t made any updates since last February! 😦 One of my goals this year is to post more frequently and consistently with food photos, and a recipe here or there.

When I first started this blog, it was to chronicle my experiments and cooking progression in the kitchen. I still want to utilize this blog as a means to do that, but also evolve it and discuss other food related topics.

For instance, I have been officially, out of culinary school for a year now! Last year I worked with a couple of specialty food businesses, helping provide value in their companies through process creation, process improvement, driving operational efficiency, and strategic business planning (utilizing quantifiable numbers and data). From time to time, I am going to share the knowledge I’ve gathered and learned as a way to recap and make sense of it all. Maybe the information might be of help to others — those who are just starting out their own food business or desire to in the future.

In any case, this year is going to be a little different from previous years. Starting Monday, you’ll be seeing at least two posts weekly (for the next 2 months). I’ve spent some time putting together a collection of posts that highlight the recipes I made last year. You may see ingredients used that are not from the season at the time of blog posting — but they were in season when I made the dishes. 😉
