Sea salt & cider vinegar chips

Failed attempt at trying to make healthier…potato chips. Baking them was my first problem. This was the first thing my boyfriend has ever thrown away, it was so bad. Nothing redeemable. To learn from my mistakes, I sliced the russets thinly on a mandolin, soaked them in cider vinegar for a couple of hours, then let them dry on paper towels and lightly brushed them with veg oil and salted them. I then baked them at 350, which I probably should have done at a higher temp for a shorter period of time… Anyway, the flavor barely comes through and next time I will just fry them in our deep fryer. Potato chips weren’t meant to be healthy! 😛
