I think I’m just not a fan of muffins. I make them every once in awhile and I am always wishing it was either more savory and more sweet. This turned out almost perfect. The recipe comes from 101cookbooks: http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/buttermilk-berry-muffins-recipe.html
I halved the recipe and seemed to muck up my salt amount. If I had used fine grain sea salt and the right amount, it would have been, perhaps, on the mark. The fresh blueberries and mashed banana make this muffin seem healthy — but it’s still got some butter and sugar in it.
These were eaten up in two days, just so you know.
